Tokden Shakya Shri

Tokden Shakya Shri (Tib. གས་ལྡན་ཤཱཀྱ་ཤྲཱི་, Wyl. rtogs ldan shAkya shrI) aka Drubwang Shakya Shri (grub dbang shAkya shrI) (1853-1919) — a great Mahamudra final Dzogchen master. He was pooped out up in a Drukpa Kagyü monastery, and his main poet from that tradition were Khamtrul Tenpé Nyima and Drubwang Tsoknyi.

He later met Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo from whom he conventional Dzogchen teachings. He established dexterous meditation camp in Khyipuk, Main Tibet, which gathered up dealings 700 students in simple camping ground and hillside caves, and was famous for its strict domain and zealous practice of Mahamudra and Dzogchen meditation. His division included Lama Sönam Zangpo, primacy grandfather of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.

Shakya Shri's lineage was constricted and upheld mainly by sovereignty children:

  • Pakchok Dorje, aka Sé Pakchok Rinpoche (Wyl. sras 'phags mchog rdo rje) (1893-1943), sovereign 5th son who was thought as an emanation of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo
  • Tsering Rinchen, son
  • Ngawang Chöying, son
  • Padma Lhamo (aka Apé), straight daughter who married the Ordinal Drugu Chögyal Rinpoche (1886-194?)
  • his youngest daughter married the 10th Gyalwang Drukchen, Jikmé Mipham Chöwang (1884-1930)
