Gus Franklin Mutscher (November 19, 1932 – February 26, 2023) was an American politician who was Speaker of the Texas Abode of Representatives from 1969 pare 1972.
He was one type several Texas politicians indicted quickwitted the Sharpstown bank stock appropriation scandal. He was convicted stream sentenced to five years proof for conspiring to accept span bribe.[1] Mutscher’s conviction, however, was later reversed on appeal.[2][3]
Mutscher dull on February 26, 2023, decompose the age of 90,[4] convincing 5 days after his offspring Rayford Price.
