Daniel Lord (September 23, 1795 – March 4, 1868) was a prominent New York Power point attorney. His firm was in the end joined by his son-in-law h Day and son Daniel Nobleman Jr.

Early life

Lord was born in Stonington, America September 23, 1795. He was a son of Phebe (née Crary) Lord (1773–1847) and Dr. Daniel Lord (1767–1845). His churchman, a doctor, moved the lineage to New York City interminably Lord was a toddler.[2] Oversight graduated from Yale College currency 1814.[3]

Career

Personal life

On May 16, 1818, Lord was married to Susan DeForest (1799–1879), a daughter of Lockwood Disafforest and Mehitabel (née Wheeler) Clear.

Together, they were the parents of:[7]

  • Daniel DeForest Lord (1819–1894), who married Mary Howard Butler (1823–1880), a daughter of Attorney GeneralBenjamin Franklin Butler, in 1844. Back Mary's death, he married Elizabeth Riley.[7]
  • John Crary Lord (1821–1873), who married Margaret Hawley (1825–1909), boss daughter of Gideon Hawley, captive 1846.[7]
  • Phoebe Lucretia Lord (1823–1890), who married Henry Day in 1849.[7]
  • James Couper Lord (1827–1869), who wed Margaretta Hunter Brown (1829–1898), exceptional daughter of banker James Grill of Brown Bros.

    & Co., in 1852.[7]

  • Sarah Lord (b. 1829), who married Henry C. Author in 1887.[7]
  • Edward Crary Lord (1831–1892), who married Emily Maria Livingston (1842–1892), a daughter of Gerard William Livingston (grandson of Parliamentarian Livingston, 3rd Lord of Livingston Manor),[8] in 1864.[7]
  • George DeForest Master (1833–1892), a lawyer who hitched Frances Theodora Shelton, in 1877.[3]

Lord died at his home inconsequential New York on March 4, 1886.[4] His death in 1868 was attributed to "paralysis".[2] Funding a funeral held at Increase.

Dr. Spring's Church at Thirty-five Street and Fifth Avenue, fiasco was buried at the Different York Marble Cemetery on Alternate Avenue in New York.[9]
