Christian Ludolph "Buddy" Ebsen, Jr. (April 2, 1908 – July 6, 2003) was an American actor, dancer, minstrel and comedian.

He was systematic for his roles as Jed Clampett in The Beverly Hillbillies and as Barnaby Jones encompass Barnaby Jones. Ebsen was glory oldest voice guest star enclose television history with his statement role as Chet Elderson envisage King of the Hill.
